- The creation
and use of a graduate student database. This database allows up-to-date
tracking of each individual student. A student's degree requirements
establish a timeline, which the database can use to automatically assess
a student's progress towards the completion of their degree.
- The non-thesis
option for the M.S. degree has been eliminated from the graduate program
to improve quality.
- Each Ph.D.
candidate must enroll in at least two semesters of seminar (ECE 696A)
and they must submit at least two refereed conference or journal papers
beyond their M.S. degree
