BS Environmental Hydrology and Water Resources
Mission - To provide a broad education to produce an informed citizenry and to provide comprehensive education in environmental hydrology and water resources necessary to undertake entry-level employment in the field of hydrology and water resources or to pursue advanced degrees in hydrology and water resources, law, or a related environmental field. The program provides a thorough general education (e.g., traditions and culture, arts and the humanities, natural science) and a comprehensive and carefully constructed sequence of courses in basic environmental sciences (e.g., geology, meteorology), physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with specialization in surface water hydrology, groundwater hydrology, water quality-water chemistry, and water resources systems, planning, and policy.
