| Educational
Objectives |
| 1. To design a curriculum that allows students to learn and apply mathematical, scientific, and modern engineering tools to solve geo-engineering problems. |
| 2. To provide an educational program for the students to learn how to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems by obtaining geo-engineering data through design and conduct of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and analyses and design of geo-engineering systems. |
| 3. To provide a learning experience for students to communicate effectively through oral presentations, written reports, and other media in discussing geo-engineering problems. |
| 4. To provide a learning experience for students to work effectively as individuals and also as members of a team in solving geo-engineering problems |
| 5. To provide a broad education for students to understand the importance of consideration of global and societal issues, contemporary issues, and professional and ethical responsibilities in solving geo-engineering problems. |
