to document a student’s technical communication skills has lead
to the identification of “project-intensive courses”, and
the summary reports associated with them.
Thesis/Project
summary reports are now used to document a student’s facility
with a variety of models and techniques, as well his/her preparation
for state-of-the-art practice.
To meet
objective M1, MSIE students are now required to take SIE 544, instead
of either SIE 540 or 544.
